Why this drill works
Provides immediate tactile feedback on the proper hand and shaft angle at impact, training the wrist and hand stability required to compress the ball.
How to do it
- 1
Place the club against the edge of a wall or similar surface.
- 2
Set your hands in the impact position (forward shaft lean).
- 3
Push strongly into the wall to feel the engagement and awareness of your hands and the forward shaft lean.
