Why this drill works
Enforces the correct kinematic sequence: Hips -> Torso -> Arms -> Club.
How to do it
- 1
Take your setup and go to the top of the backswing.
- 2
Pause completely.
- 3
Initiate downswing by stepping the lead foot into the ground (pressure shift) BEFORE moving hands.
- 4
Feel the separation between lower body and upper body.
