Why this drill works

Forces the weight to follow the club in continuous motion (club right, weight right; club left, weight left). This eliminates the reverse pivot habit where the club and weight move in opposite directions, helping you find natural rhythm and balance.

How to do it

  1. 1

In your pre-swing routine, swing the club continuously back to the right, then forward to the left, without stopping.

  2. 2

Repeat the 'Right, Left, Right, Left' motion two to three times.

  3. 3

Focus on the feeling of the club and your weight moving in unison.

  4. 4

Step into your shot with that rhythmic feeling.
