Why this drill works

The grip controls the clubface. A neutral grip allows the wrists to hinge naturally without requiring manipulation to square the face at impact.

How to do it

  1. 1

    Hold the club in front of you at 45 degrees.

  2. 2

    Place left hand so you see 2 knuckles.

  3. 3

    Place right hand so the 'V' points to your right shoulder.

  4. 4

    Maintain this pressure as you lower the club to the ball.
